Who are you and what do you do?

My name is Joanne Casha, I work in the Office Management team in Malta.

What initially drew you to Betway?

Firstly, it was the job itself. I have always been an organised person, and being part of this team gives me the opportunity to show this in my work. I’ve worked in many different environments, but I always wanted to be part of a company like Betway.

How has your career developed at Betway?

My career has been very successful at Betway! I connect with different people every day and I’m met with different tasks away from the everyday routine, which always offers me a challenge but is always great for my development.

What is a typical day at work like for you?

An ordinary day at work consists of making sure that the workplace is neat and tidy while also helping colleagues with anything they need around the office. It is a pretty social job and I really enjoy seeing and speaking to so many people.

How has Betway changed in your time here?

Betway has changed a lot! More recently, especially after the pandemic, it has been so nice seeing colleagues come back to the office, socialising and holding events.

What makes Betway so special?

Betway has always been so welcoming, not just to me but to everyone! It is such an uplifting environment, and everyone is so supportive and encouraging. The team are always super helpful and look out for you.

Can you list the most challenging but exciting aspects of your role?

I have always found some challenges when working with my laptop, as I am not the most tech-efficient person! But I will always work on improving my skills and as I have said before, colleagues are always there to help, teach and share their skills with me. This has helped me develop skills such as planning events, which can be a challenge but also very exciting!

What is your favourite project you have worked on at Betway?

As I just mentioned, I really enjoy helping with planning events. It’s so rewarding when you have helped from the start all the way to the execution, and you see colleagues from different areas of the business come together and have a great time! It's something I’d never done before I joined Betway, and now it’s become such a valuable part of my role that I really enjoy!

What 3 words would you use to describe Betway to potential new starters?

Innovative, Welcoming and Synergy.

Betway is a very innovative company, we are always hearing about new and exciting developments within the business.

It’s a very welcoming team! Everyone is wonderful and very supportive, I’m proud to call them my colleagues.

Synergy, because as mentioned previously, everyone is so helpful and supportive and they’re always there to help. There is a real bond in the office, and I think synergy is the perfect way to describe it.

You have 30 seconds, what makes working at Betway so good?

Working at Betway is great because the team works together towards one goal, and everyone helps each other on separate tasks. Moreover, the environment is very welcoming and helps colleagues feel fresh and work at their best each day. Lastly, no day is the same here at Betway, there’s always something new and exciting going on, and the days are interesting, you can really learn a lot here.
